AC is a law clerk at Hawkes Quam, LLC. Her approach to family law is informed by nearly a decade of experience working with children and families before beginning her legal career.
Before law school, AC worked as a social worker in San Francisco, where she supported families navigating the juvenile court system, participated in mediations, and helped develop creative solutions to complex family challenges. She later served as an Advocacy Manager, supervising a team providing legal services to survivors of domestic violence. This background shapes how she approaches each case, taking time to understand the family dynamics and practical concerns, and bringing a thoughtful, grounded approach to her advocacy.
During law school, AC served as a judicial extern in the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah and clerked with the Appellate Division of the Salt Lake Legal Defender Association. She also held leadership positions with Pro Bono Initiative and Parents & Caregivers Club.
Outside of work, AC serves on the Board of Directors of Postpartum Support International–Utah and is involved in maternal mental health advocacy. She is also a three-time marathoner and enjoys spending time with her family.
